Ms. Tuke has been practicing her brand of law since 2004. 17+ years of service as a judicial attorney, litigator, child custody lawyers, divorce lawyers, domestic mediator and negotiator: inside and outside of the courtroom. The Tuke Firm and the The ‘2K’ Way evolved into a multi-service modern legal practice that still cares about our client’s best interests.

She graduated from University of Maryland College Park, University Honors Program, Cum Laude in 2001. Then she went back home to New York City and studied at  Fordham University School of Law in Lincoln Center. While in law school, Ms. Tuke spent a fun and fascinating two years interning at World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. in their  in-house Intellectual Property legal department. She graduated from Fordham Law with her Juris Doctor in 2004 and then set sail (well, she drove actually) to Detroit to pursue an opportunity.

Ms. Tuke first learned about how court really works during her tenure as a Judicial Law Clerk for Hon. Kathleen M. McCarthy. In this position, she served the Family Division of Wayne County Circuit Court, Michigan for a number of years. She was a research attorney, handling lots of legal research and drafting work. At the same time, assisting the many unrepresented parties move their case to the next step. The time serving the public and the court was invaluable in helping her understand what the litigation process really looks like.

Ms. Tuke took the experiences gained from learning and assisting behind the bench and transferred that skills set to become an effective and efficient litigator. She handles divorce, family and civil cases in southeast Michigan.

THE TUKE FIRM was founded in 2009 with a focus on divorce and family law. Ms. Tuke has extensive divorce and family court experience various Michigan counties. Additionally she handles other civil litigation in State and in Federal court. Ms. Tuke has been active and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan for over 17 years and counting. She is a member of the Family Law Section.

Ms. Tuke is a very proud mom of active children who keep her busy outside of work. She is an active mentor to youth in the Detroit Metro Area. Ms. Tuke volunteers in Rochester Consolidated School District Diversity & Inclusion committee seeking solutions for all students.

Her family is her anchor and she honors her family in the manner in which she handles other people’s families and matters.
